Who is responsible

The party responsible for processing your personal data is Lilia Rusconi, attorney (Rusconi Abogado de Familia). You can reach us at contacto@rusconiabogadodefamilia.cl or +56 9 4672 7919.

Today, Chilean Law 19.628 on the protection of private life applies. Law 21.719, published in the Official Gazette on December 13, 2024, takes effect on December 1, 2026, unless a later law changes that date, and expands your rights.

What data we collect and how

  • Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), area of inquiry and the description you write.
  • Virtual assistant (chatbot): name, email, phone and a description of your case, when you choose to provide them. Your browser also keeps a copy of that data on your own device (local storage) until you clear it.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and actions on the site (clicks, scrolling), collected by the measurement services described below and by server logs.
  • If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we process the data you give us that way.

Family matters can involve health data and, under Law 21.719, socioeconomic data, which the law treats as sensitive, and data about minors. Please include in the form and the chatbot only what is needed to understand your inquiry; details are handled later, in the conversation with the attorney.

What we use your data for

  • Responding to your inquiry and arranging a video call.
  • Assessing whether we can help you and, if you decide so, engaging our services.
  • Measuring how the site is used and whether our Google advertising works (analytics and conversions).
  • Complying with legal obligations and the attorney's professional duties, including confidentiality of client information.

Who we share data with, and transfers abroad

We do not sell your data. It is received by the attorney and by the providers the site needs to work:

  • Email (Gmail / Google): messages from the form and the chatbot reach the attorney's email and are also stored in a file on the site's server.
  • Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads): measurement of visits and advertising conversions.
  • Microsoft Clarity: site usage analysis (heatmaps and sessions).
  • The site's server and network, and authorities when a law or court order requires it.

Google and Microsoft may process data on servers outside Chile (for example, in the United States). You may exercise your rights over that data by writing to us.

Cookies and measurement tools

The site uses cookies or identifiers from Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads) and from Microsoft Clarity for the purposes above. On your first visit we show a notice so you can reject these tools. These tools run unless you press “Reject”; if you reject, analytics and advertising consent is denied and Microsoft Clarity is not loaded, and the site works the same either way. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at any time.

Your rights

Today you may ask us for information about your data, its correction, its deletion or blocking, and object to the use of your data for advertising (Law 19.628). Once Law 21.719 takes effect you will also be able to exercise the rights of objection, portability and blocking under that law, and withdraw your consent. Write to contacto@rusconiabogadodefamilia.cl stating which right you are exercising and how to identify you. We will respond within the applicable legal deadline (Law 21.719 sets 30 calendar days, extendable by another 30).

Retention and security

We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to handle it and to meet legal and professional obligations. If you inquired but did not engage us, you can ask us to delete your data at any time. The site runs over HTTPS and access to the messages received is limited to the attorney and those who administer the server.

Minors

The site is intended for adults. If you give us data about a child or teenager in the context of a family inquiry, please do so only as their legal representative and limited to what is necessary.
